Volunteer opportunity description

Little Village READS is a literacy initiative that pairs reading tutors with 1st through 3rd grade students in the Little Village Community. All our students have been referred by their teachers for extra help outside the classroom, and they meet with tutors two days a week to work on building their reading skills. Tutors engage students in free reading, interactive games, and fun literacy activities.

If you are interested in being a tutor we would love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to gain some hands on experience working with an amazing group of kids.

September 2018 – December 2018
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
** Tutors may come 1 day or all 4!
