Volunteer opportunity description

Want to work with high school students from across the city of Chicago to help them navigate the college access process? Enjoy creating a network with other like-minded adults that will support students to and through their first year of college?

Then you should become a Chicago Scholars Mentor!

Join us at our Chicago Scholars New Mentor Open House to learn more about becoming a mentor!

Chicago Scholars provides Chicago’s young leaders with the support they need to achieve their dreams through an innovative college access, success, and leadership development program. We serve students in under-resourced communities and nurture their talent through mentorship, college admissions support, college persistence, access to summer internships, and career development opportunities.

We are currently recruiting over 200 dynamic individuals to serve as mentors for our incoming college class of 2025. Through our innovative 2-year mentoring program, mentors provide support needed to successfully navigate the college admissions process and complete the first year of college.

With just a small investment of your time, you can help to change the lives of the future generations of Chicago’s leaders!
